We are proud and excited to announce the arrival of our latest collection of contemporary ceramic art for Spring 2026.
In our new Anagama Collection, you will find a series of quietly beautiful chawan (tea bowls), alongside three much-loved lidded jar forms, each piece carrying its own subtle character and tone.
This season, we are pleased to introduce the unique handcrafted work of UK-based master potter Chris Lewis, who has been working from South Heighton Pottery in Sussex, originally established by Ursula Mommens, for over fifty years.
Each work is entirely individual in surface and form, shaped by the transformative effects of firing in a traditional Japanese anagama wood-fired kiln. Positioned at the crossroads of a rich transcultural exchange of ideas pioneered by Shoji Hamada and Bernard Leach, and the development of British Studio Pottery, these pieces speak to both English and Japanese ceramic traditions.
They offer the opportunity to collect a durable, functional piece of material culture—objects intended not only for use, but for lasting presence within the home.
