Pavilion is a London-based online platform presenting standout paintings and sculptural objects rooted in the arts of East Asia. Each season, we unveil meticulously curated collections, chosen for their quality, provenance, and singular presence.
Originally founded in 2018, the gallery also publishes The Orchid Pavilion and stewards the Pavilion Archive, expanding the conversation around art, history and material visual culture.
Our PavilionWare range brings this ethos into the everyday with high-fired, hand-made English ceramics shaped by the Anglo-Japanese studio tradition. Each piece is uniquely glazed, durable and expressive — ideal for contemporary ceramic collectors or anyone seeking a functional object with soul.
Since our early, inaugural exhibitions in Hong Kong, we continue to work with clients worldwide to build lasting and important collections of art.
WHO WE ARE
Pavilion was launched in Hong Kong in 2018 as an exhibition space dedicated to the promotion of East Asian diasporic art: dia ("through/across") and speiro ("to sow/scatter"). Founded by Alexander Whittaker and Emma Moss, Pavilion seeks to create a space for conversation around cultural exchange and art’s most enduring qualities.
Since 2018 we have worked on an increasingly international scale, working with new and established collectors alike, placing objects within important museum collections worldwide.
Our specialism is in Qing-era collectibles in the form of Chinese snuff bottles, modern diasporic ink paintings and contemporary ceramics works linked to East Asian traditions.

Shipping Terms
We want you to be happy with your purchase, therefore we offer a full money back guarantee. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your item, we simply ask that it is returned to us within fourteen days of purchase and we will refund the sale price in full.
Worldwide shipping is available for all items but not included in prices except where stated in our online shop.
Estimates for shipping can be offered for any item, please contact us with your delivery address for a quotation.
Shipping will usually be within three days of payment using a tracked and signed for service (Fedex or DHL) unless agreed otherwise with the buyer.
Pavilion does not accept responsibility for any import duty and fees; this will remain the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Pavilion will not be responsible for return shipping costs or any duty incurred in the event of an item being returned to us, these costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.
