Iron-red, white and black enamel on colourless glaze on porcelain; with a convex lip, flat foot and convex footrim; painted with a continuous design of a five-claw imperial dragon in flight partially concealed by the black ground which stands for clouds, emitting a stream of vapour into formalized waves below, the base and interior glazed.
