Transparent ruby-red and emerald-green glass and translucent beige glass on colourless glass suffused with bubbles and tiny white flecks; with a flat lip and deeply recessed flat, oval foot surrounded by a mildly protruding oval foot rim; carved as a triple overlay with a continuous scene of waterside life with a farmer, his hoe over his shoulder, crossing a plank bridge towards a waterside home beneath a wutong or maple tree, with an open meditation pavilion on a rocky promontory nearby and a fisherman with his creel punting a skiff in the distance, a bird flying overhead, with five more distant birds in flight against clouds with the sun above.
