Transparent emerald-green glaze on black pigment on porcelain; with a convex lip, flat foot, and convex foot rim; painted beneath the glaze with a wrap-around, mountainous landscape scene with a scholar reading in his waterside pavilion, plus the traditionally idealised philosopher-recluses, a fisherman and a woodcutter, beneath a neck-band of formalized lingzhi; the interior with a thin, colourless glaze.
