Black and pale-yellow enamel on colourless glaze on porcelain; with no functional foot; moulded as a compressed aubergine form with relief, confined mostly to one main side, of two crabs and millet or reed plant, a tiny firing flaw on the base disguised by painting a shrimp over it, the interior unglazed.
