Variegated brown, orange and iron-red enamels on colourless glaze on white porcelain; with a convex lip and recessed, partly convex foot surrounded by a convex foot rim; enamelled to imitate quartz conglomerate (‘pudding-stone’), the foot inscribed in iron red seal script Daoguang nian zhi 道光年製 (‘Made in the Daoguang era’), the interior unglazed.
